Hawaiian Separatism
The senate will vote for cloture on S-147, dubbed The Native Hawaiian Government Reorganization Act of 2005, on Sept. 6th. See Senator Kyl's (R-AZ) essay from the Republican Policy Committee, here. It outlines not only the negative policy considerations, but also the unconstitutionality of the measure.
